Portrait Photo Guidelines
Upload 1-3 clear photos. The ideal submission includes three angles: front-facing, ¾ view, and side profile.
- Lighting: Even, natural lighting with no harsh shadows
- Expression: Neutral expression, no smiling
- Framing: Face centered, photo taken at head height
- Resolution: Sharp and high quality — facial features clearly visible
- Clear face: No sunglasses, hats, or hair covering your face
- No filters: No filters or digital alterations
- Single person: Only you should be in the photos
Ancestry Report Guidelines
Upload screenshots of your ethnicity estimate showing your percentages by region. We currently support AncestryDNA, 23andMe, and K47, with more providers coming soon.
- Supported providers: AncestryDNA, 23andMe, or K47 (other services coming soon)
- One provider per submission: Don't mix screenshots from different services
- Show percentages: Region names and percentages clearly visible
- Multiple screenshots: If results don't fit in one, upload multiple
- Scroll and capture: Include all regions, even small percentages
- No maps: We only need the percentage list
